Hurrell and DawsonNew start-up full service agency Hurrell and Dawson has today unveiled a logo and corporate philosophy on its new website, which was designed by multidiscipline design agency Carter Wong Tomlin.

Hurrell and Dawson, which was founded by former executives from M&C Saatchi, Nick Hurrell, and TBWA, Neil Dawson, has communicated its mission statement to apply a range of disciplines including advertising, media, PR and branded content to develop creative content in one single team in order to solve a problem.

The blue and red logo was designed to reflect a premium and serious brand.

Carter Wong Tomlin director Phil Wong described the branding as 'austere', but said the use of putting the 'and' in Hurrell and Dawson a different colour reflected the different offerings the agency planned to offer.

He added: "'And' was the active ingredient that summed up the complete offering. It will provide the concept on which to base all further communications."

Hurrell and Dawson plans to offer media planning and buying solutions by September 2006 and is hunting for a senior media figure to lead in this area.

The agency has already created work for the launch of IPC's new high street weekly, developed an environmental strategy for Eurostar, designed a global campaign to promote the work the International Committee of the Red Cross does to support war victims and been appointed to promote the opening of Britain's new international train station St Pancreas.
