Enter alt description text hereIPC Ignite has pumped up its senior digital division of its men's and music titles Nuts, Loaded, NME and Uncut with the appointment of Phil Wallis as senior producer of digital.

Wallis will be tasked with leading the production and development of the group's growing video facilities across all media.

He will report to Ignite Digital editor-in-chief Anthony Thornton. He was previously the online men's lifestyle editor of Nuts.co.uk and Loaded.co.uk and was responsible for steering the development of internet video production on both Nuts and Loaded's websites from the very beginning.

Lad's mags such as Nuts and Loaded are facing increasing pressure to expand their brands to include online and mobile platforms as their traditional print offerings continue to face a decline in circulation.

Nuts and Loaded publishing director Jo Smalley told mad.co.uk earlier this year that it planned to push its brands by offering integrated platforms that combined online, print and mobile.

Earlier this year Nuts launched a series of podcasts that are available via iTunes.

Rival Dennis Publishing has taken an innovative approach to the men's digital magazine market with the introduction of its weekly e-zine Monkey in November last year.
