Harper’s appoints new ad director
The National Magazine Company (NatMags) has appointed Antonia Wigan as advertising director for its Harper’s Bazaar title.
In her new role at the monthly magazine, Wigan will be reporting to assistant publishing director Jacqueline Euwe.
Wigan was previously ad director for NatMags’ Company magazine. She has been at NatMags for the past seven years in various advertising roles.
Harper’s recently reported an average net circulation figure of 109,033 with a period-on-period change of three per cent.
Tess Macleod-Smith, group publishing director, said: “We are delighted that Antonia is to join the team at Harper’s Bazaar. Harper's results continue to go from strength to strength and we experienced the highest growth in ad pages and market share in 2007. Having just posted our highest ever ABC, Wigan joins us at a particularly exciting time in the magazine's history.”
