E.ONE.ON has called a review of its £20m advertising account. TBWA\London currently holds the business and is expected to take part in the pitch.

The review is being led by E.ON director of brand and communications Jeremy Davies, who joined the energy group in May. The process is being handled by Agency Insight.

Davies, who joined E.ON from his role of brand director at Santander-owned bank Abbey, is responsible for E.ON¹s advertising, sponsorship, online, brand strategy, PR and internal communications.

E.ON moved its advertising account out of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R into TBWA\London, without a pitch in 2007.  The energy giant, formerly known as Powergen, moved its £30m media planning and buying account into MediaCom in August. The win included E.ON¹s online media planning and buying which had been handled by Zed Media.

As part of a broad marketing services shake-up that has been taking place since Davies¹ arrival, E.On appointed MVi, the digital arm of MediaVest Manchester to handle its search marketing business.
