Cadbury’s creates extravaganza for Wispa

WispaCadbury’s unveiled its extravagant advertisement to thank supporters of the revised Wispa bar on Saturday (20 December).

The “For the love of Wispa ad”, created by Fallon, was shown during Celebrity Mr & Mrs on ITV and there are no plans to repeat the execution on TV this year.

The execution depicts a burgeoning crowd of people celebrating, including cheerleaders, rugby players and stilt-walkers, a male choir and a brass band, alongside numerous people dressed as animals.

The cast for the two minute ad is largely made up of fans of the chocolate bar who signed up via a dedicated website.

Cadbury’s revived Wispa as a limited edition after a campaign calling for its return found sizeable support on Facebook. The brand has now been reinstated as permanent offering.

Fallon also created the highly-praised Cadbury’s “Gorilla” ad last year.
