Sky1's new camapign features Ross KempBSkyB has withdrawn its bid for Tiscali's UK business after the two companies disagreed over price, according to reports.

Tiscali is said to have expected £600m for its UK business, but the offer from BSkyB is around the £450m mark.

Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone have both previously looked at buying the Italian company, but its high price was cited as a reason for deals not being pursued.

If BSkyB picks back up the deal, it would go onto become Britain's third biggest broadband provider passing Carphone Warehouse-owned TalkTalk.

Tiscali has 1.8m UK broadband users.
